Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supply prepared in accordance with FAR subpart 13.1, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be posted. Proposals are being requested and a written statement of work (SOW) is attached to this notice to provide details of the material and shipping locations with addresses. The solicitation number is W9124J-11-T-0028. Please visit www.fedbizopps.gov and register to automatically receive procurement notification from EPS. The system will inform you, via email, when there has been activity on EPS concerning this solicitation. This acquisition is unrestricted. NAICS Code is 323117. This solicitation is for educational pamphlets and guides, posters and DVDs. The Contractor will be responsible for the postage, handling and shipping the materials to the government. The Contractor shall provide 93 portable/wall mount kiosks. The resource material must cover the following areas: 'how to ease the strain of returning home from war"; how to create a deployment plan, strategies for dealing with finances, medical issues, power of attorney, interactive exercises to help fathers stay connected to their children and to the mother"; how to prepare fathers for changes in the children while he is deployed; how the Family can get help when needed; and how to successfully navigate through the stressors of military life. The educational resources must also address the Army Reserve and National Guard military fathers and their unique challenges. The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract to a single contractor. Award will be made to the lowest priced offer. The projected period of performance is 90 days to complete all shipping and deliveries. Shipping shall start on the first day of the contract award. All offers are due by 28 September 2011, 3:00 p.m. CST, via email to gary.l.stevens.civ@mail.mil.
