- A. Statement of Requirements. The Government is seeking expressions of interest for space meeting the following requirements: City, State: Lenexa, KS Delineated Area: Within the city limits of Lenexa, KS and within a mile radius of FDA Administration Office at 8050 Marshall Drive, Lenexa, KS. Maximum Rentable SF: 61,789 (including 55,821 for lab space) Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 53,730 (including 48,540 for lab space) Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 59,103 (including 53,394 for lab space) Space Type: Office and laboratory Space Parking Spaces (Total): 248 (4.00 per 1,000 RSF) Parking Spaces (Surface): 0 Parking Spaces (Structured): 248 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 0 Full Term: 10 Years Firm Term: 5 Years Option Term: N/A Additional Requirements: In addition to the rental costs the Government will also factor in the costs of moving to a new location including, but not limited to, physical move, tenant improvements, above-standard/specialized alterations/equipment, furniture relocation, telecommunications, and other related costs. Note that these same costs may not be factored in when evaluating whether it is most advantageous to the Government to remain in the current lease location. The Government is interested in considering alternative space if economically advantageous. The Government will use the information it receives in response to this advertisement as a basis to develop a cost/benefit analysis and to determine whether to compete the lease requirement or pursue a sole source justification to remain at its current location. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all expressions of interest and give consideration to properties other than those offered in response to this advertisement. Subleases will not be considered. Offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire, Safety and Handicapped Accessibility, and Sustainability set forth in the Solicitation for Offers. Offered space shall not be in the [100/500] year flood plain. B. Projected Dates.
