No installation is necessary. Veneer: Veneer on all exposed surfaces is #1 plain sliced cherry. Outside surface veneers are bookmatched to provide proper grain consistency. Drawer fronts are vertical grain cherry veneers and matched in selected sets to ensure proper veneer balance. Wood Veneer Tops: Tops are 3-ply construction with cherry rims, shaped with a traditional style edge detail. Rims on all four sides are precisely mitered on all four corners. Cherry veneer tops are standard. Modesty Panels and End Panels: Panels are 3/4" thick, 3-ply construction with bookmatched veneers. Decorative panel moulding is crafted from solid cherry with mitered corners and hand fitted to each panel. Units may be specified with or without decorative panel moulding. Drawers: Drawer sides and backs are solid beech lumber 7/16" thick. Drawer fronts are of 3-ply hardwood construction, 13/16" thick. Drawer bottoms are of 3-ply hardwood construction. Drawers are assembled with dovetail construction in all four corners. All desk drawers are grooved for drawer partitions. Center drawer pen trays are of solid hardwood. Doors: Doors are 3-ply construction with vertical grain cherry veneers and matched in selected sets to ensure proper veneer balance.
