- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1. The US Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground, Installation Division, 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21005 has a requirement to procure 1 year of Software Maintenance for custom built software provided by Intergraph for the Installation Emergency 911/CAD system: IPS0001 I/Executive, 1 ea IPS0002 I/Dispatcher, 4 ea IPS0007 I/Executive 2, 1 ea IPS00042 I/NetViewer 5 Users, 1 ea The intended period of performance for the maintenance is September 30, 2011 to September 29, 2012. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source purchase order to Intergraph Corporation, 170 Graphics Drive, Madison, Alabama 35758-8802. Only Intergraph can provide Maintenance Support for I/Executive, I/Dispatcher, I/Executive 2, and I/NetViewer, which are compatible with the current Emergency 911/CAD System. Because the Intergraph system is proprietary, no other type of maintenance support is compatible and/or acceptable. This firm is the sole developer/manufacturer/distributor of the product. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511210 and the Business Size Standard is $25,000,000. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time, September 27, 2011. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
