- The purpose of this amendment is to provide questions (Q) and answers (A) received from interested vendors: Q1) Can I get a description or (even better) a layout of the existing equipment? Will the new equipment be placed in the general area of the existing? A1) The existing equipment includes: 1 Amplifier, 1 Master Control Panel, 2 Wall Mounted Slim Speakers, and 3 Stage Front Mic Inputs. New equipment will go in the same area as existing. Q2) The SOW doesn't describe if the new system will require cable pulls though walls or ceilings. If cable pulls are required, a description of the room(s) would be needed to determine the amount of work required. A2) Cable runs will not go through walls or ceilings. Q3) Can you expound on what exactly this system will be used for? If would help for visualizing the project for estimating. A3) New system will replace antiquated sound system that is pieced together by AV dept here on Post. It will be used for but not limited to assemblies in the auditorium which include choral and instrumental concerts, daily assembly of students for morning announcements which incorporate Power Point presentations, use of the facility by Post departments for training purposes, community town hall meetings, and will be used by Principals for staff training. It will also be used for theatrical performances by the schools Drama students, concerts and shows put on by the Elementary School and for general assemblies that require AV support.
