- THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. This is a synopses of a proposed contract action notification that the formal solicitation (FA3300-11-T-0032) may be issued approximately on 23 Sep 201. This notice fulfills the pre-solicitation notice requirement of FAR 5.201, FAR 5.203, and FAR 5.205(f). GENERAL INFORMATION: The 42 Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL in support of the 42nd FSS/FSR at Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex, AL (MAFB-Gunter Annex, AL) is conducting an acquisition for WiFi Internet Services for Maxwell-Gunter Facilities. The Contractor shall function as a single focal point to the Government for the WiFi Internet Services. The contractor will install equipment and maintain a high-speed internet connection services. The internet service provider must be able to provide high speed internet access that is cable or DSL with minimum download speed of 3Mbps a multi-access Wi-Fi Hotspot for each location. (i.e, internet speed 15Mbps X 2Mbps BIZ Data, and 1-5 Net Sharing). The Wi-Fi internet services will be installed in the following locations: Maxwell Bowling Center, 575 E Selfridge St, Bldg 816, Maxwell, AFB, AL 36112 Gunter Lanes, Gunter-Annex, AL 36116 Maxwell Event Center (MEC) 101 E. Selfridge St., Bldg 742, Maxwell AFB, AL Gunter Community Center, 210 Ramp Road, Bldg 825, Gunter-Annex, AL Maxwell Community Library, 335 E Kirkpatrick Ave, Bldg 28, Maxwell AFB, AL Gunter Community Library, 481 Williamson Street, Bldg 110, Gunter AFB, AL. Place of performance will be Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, Alabama. The issued solicitation will be a firm fixed price contract. The acquisition will be offered for full & Open Competion under FAR part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. The NAICS Code is 517210 Wireless Communication Carriers (except Satellite) with the size standard of 1500 employees. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) pricing arrangement for a basic one year contract plus four (4) one year option periods is contemplated. Central Contract Registration (CCR) will be mandatory for this contract (see CCR website at www.ccr.gov).
