- Brand name justification This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-11-Q-0783 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53, Defense Circular Number 20110920, Air Force Acquisition Circular 2011-0714. This procurement is being issued as a brand name procurement under NAICS code 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. Short description of the requirement: 0001 - 4EA - WPS 4004 front panel upgrade type II w/o battery charger (FPU4004) 0002 - 4 EA - Intrusion alarm (INTRU) 0003 - 4 EA - Cabinet LED window status indicator (STATUS) 0004 - 4 EA - Two way radio control WHF narrowband (C2020NH) 0005 - 4 EA - Tone squelch (TS) 0006 - 4 EA - Remote station digital voice module - 1 GB (RDVM1G) All products must be brand name from Whelen Engineering. Please see attached brand name justification for more information. Shipping will be FOB Destination to 355 CS/SCOT, 3180 S 1st St, Bldg 1540, Rm 172, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707.
