Description
The Aircraft Maintenance Shop (HMX-1) at Marine Corps Air Facility, Quantico, Va has a requirement for contracted commercial services to provide shop rags, maintenance of inventory, laundry services, pick-up, delivery, disposal and replacement of items for three (3) tool rooms within the facility. The contractor shall maintain ownership of the rags and on a weekly basis shall remove soiled articles for laundering and provide clean rags to the locations specified in this SOW. The period of performance shall be for a basic period of twelve (12) months with provisions for four (4) one-year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the government per FAR Clause 52.217-9, Option to extend the term of the contract. The proposed costs for options will be evaluated in accordance with the FAR Clause 52.217-5 evolutions of options. EVALUATION CRITERIA FOR QUOTES 1 BASIS FOR AWARD. The Government will select the lowest priced offer that is found to be technically acceptable, and has a satisfactory record of relevant past performance. This section outlines the evaluation criteria against which a team of Government personnel will evaluate all proposals received in response to this solicitation. The Government intends to award one contract as a result of this RFQ; however, the Government reserves the right to award no contract at all, depending on the quality of the offers submitted. The Government reserves the right to make an award based on initial offers received, without discussions. 2 LOWEST PRICE TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE. The Government will make award to the quoter found to be technically acceptable, has a satisfactory record of relevant past performance and offers the lowest evaluated price. 3 UNACCEPTABLE TECHNICAL FACTOR. A finding of unacceptable in one technical factor may result in the entire technical quote being evaluated as unacceptable. 4 EVALUATION FACTORS. Response to this Request for Quote will be evaluated using the following factors: (1) ability of the offer or to meet the requirements of the Government as stated in the Statement of Work, (2) relevant and satisfactory past performance (in the event that you have no relevant past performance you will be rated neutral and will not be rated favorable or unfavorable), and (3) Price. Offerors are to submit three (3) past performance references with their proposal. See Attatched Solicitation for Specifications, details, clauses, and provisions.
