- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15 Network Contracting Activity, intends to negotiate a sole source FSS procurement in accordance with Far Part 8 Olympus America under the authority of FAR 8.405-6. This procurement is for the lease of endoscopic equipment for the facilities of VISN 15. This includes on-site training for all VA personnel who perform routine care and maintenance to the equipment for no additional charge to the VA. The contractor will provide operating, reprocessing, cleaning, and routine maintenance training for VA staff at no additional charge to the VA. The period of performance shall be for one year with two options of one-year each. The appropriate NAICS code is 532490 with a size standard of $7M. The FSS solicitation number is VA-255-RQ-0578. All other contract details including full specifications will be included in the Request For Quotes, which will be released on or about September 22, 2011. The anticipated close date will be on or about September 26, 2011. Any contractor who wishes to receive a copy of this RFQ may submit a request in writing.
