Description
The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract on sole source basis to LCI Copper Group for the procurement of maintenance on 5 ADT Intrusion Detection Systems. This requirement will involve performing maintenance and servicing of the Intrusion Detection System (IDS) as required for system components (Balanced Magnetic Sensors (BMS), Motion Sensors, Keypads, Panels, Power Sources, Electrical Battery Backups) in 5 buildings at the Naval Air Station Oceana, Dam Neck Annex, Virginia Beach, VA. The alarm systems must continually conform to UL 2050 standards. Electrical battery backup of the alarm systems must continually conform to UL 1076 standards. The contractor shall be responsible for ensuring all systems are in good working order. All work will be performed during normal working hours (7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday “Friday). The Contractor shall furnish all components necessary to add additional room(s) to the existing Intrusion Detection System to include but not limited to Balanced Magnetic Sensor(s) (BMS), Motion Detectors(s), Alarm Key Panel(s), Electrical Power Source Panel, Electrical Battery Backup panel, all necessary copper wiring, fiber, conduit and electrical wiring. This award will be for one base year plus two option years. The solicitation will contain the clause FAR 52.217-8, and the prices under this clause will be evaluated prior to award. This procurement will utilize procedures under FAR 13. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request For Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov. The RFQ should be posted on or before 21 September 2011.
