- THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. Any procurement related to this announcement will be published as a separate solicitation in FEDBIZOPPS. This synopsis does not commit the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted in response to this synopsis. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Acquisition Management (FA) intends to issue solicitation #DJD-11-R-0057 for a turnkey Lawful Intercept Mediation Management System with Communication Collection System to be used at the National Electronic Management Center (NEMC) in San Salvador, El Salvador. This system may be referred to as LIMS and a Transcription and Translation Support System (T2S2.) The solicitation is designated for 100% small business set aside. The anticipated contract type is firm fixed price. Quantity and specifications will be listed in the solicitation. The expected period of performance will be for a 12-month base period and four one-year option periods starting December 2011 and ending December 2016. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334210 - Telephone Apparatus Manufacturing with a business size standard of 1,000 employees. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov.). The DEA plans to issue the solicitation on September 30, 2011. The solicitation will be issued by electronic posting on (the Federal Business Opportunities website www.fedbizopps.gov, DEA's website, www.dea.gov.) Potential offerors should monitor this website for the release of the solicitation and any amendments.
