Request for Proposal for Grand Island VA Clinic and Topeka VA Medical Center Additional information regarding this opportunity, including the Request for Proposals (RFP) is available on the project websites: http://www.va.gov/assetmanagement/burr/Topeka/ http://www.va.gov/assetmanagement/burr/grandIsland/ The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has identified a six (6) acre parcel of undeveloped land with at the VA Grand Island Clinic (Grand Island Campus) in Grand Island, Nebraska for a long-term ground lease up to 75 years. Additionally, The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has identified a four (4) acre parcel of land with 7 vacant buildings at the VA Topeka Medical Center (Topeka Campus) for a long-term ground lease up to 75 years. VA is soliciting qualified developers to submit proposals to finance, design, develop, construct, equip, furnish, manage and maintain a new Independent Living Housing Facility on both VA campuses. The VA objective is to provide safe affordable housing to the target population of senior Veterans. In return for a long-term lease, the offeror will provide fair monetary and/or in-kind consideration to VA that will include an array of on-site supportive services.
