Description
Please complete the Request for Quote Worksheet & return to POC identified. Statement of Work COMBINED SYNOPSIS/ SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS (IAW FAR 12.603(c)) (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation/synopsis reference number is F1M3T41189A001and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 effective 04 Aug 2011. (iv) This acquisition is being advertised as a 100% small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 333923 with a size standard of 500 employees. (v) Contractors shall submit a quote for the following: Remove existing wire rope on boom hoist, main hoist, and auxillary hoist and replace with new wire rope and end fittings. A site visit will be conducted on Friday, 23 Sep at 10:00 AM EST. All contractors who attend the site visit shall meet at the Redbank Club, Bldg 942, 2316 Redbank Club, Naval Weapons Station, Goose Creek, SC 29445. Contractors shall arrive at the Redbank Club 9:30 AM. A member of the 628th Contracting Squadron, Lisa "Brooke" Boyd, will meet contractors at the Redbank Club and transport them to the site of the crane. All interested contractors must contact Ms. Boyd at 843-963-4492 or lisa.boyd.3@us.af.mil by 3:00 PM EST on Thursday, 22 Sep 2011, if you plan to attend. Although not mandatory, it is highly encouraged that all interested contractors attend the site visit. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered. (vi) F1M3T41189A001, Wire Rope Change, Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina. (See attached Request for Quotation worksheet and Statement of Work). (vii) FOB Destination - Joint Base Charleston Weapons Station, SC. Offerors are to submit a performance period with their quote. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers in the following relative order of importance: 1) Price, 2) Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement. The Government will evaluate the total price of the offer for the award purposes. The Government will award a contract to the lowest price technically acceptable offer.
