Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition and Logistics, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) located at 260 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, New Jersey 07724 intends to award a 12-month firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract with two (2) one-year option periods to Document Storage Systems, Inc (DSS) for Dental Record Manager Plus (DRMPlus) software maintenance. The contract will also include an optional task for International Classification of Diseases (ICD)-10 code enhancements. Required services include maintenance (bug fixes, patch preparation and release, correction of display inaccuracies, maintenance of integration agreements, and code versioning), software support (telephone help desk support), software modification and installation, and developing interfaces to Veterans Health Information Systems & Technology Architecture (VistA). This effort is issued under the authority of 38 U.S.C. 8127(c), Veterans First Contracting Program. Contracts awarded using this authority are supported by written justifications as required by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-5, "Authorized or required by statute." Performance will be at the Contractor's facility. Deliverables are to be FOB Destination with Inspection/Acceptance at Destination. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 511210 with the corresponding small business size standard of $25,000,000. The solicitation number assigned to this effort is VA118-11-RP-0622 and will be issued on or about September 21, 2011. An award date no later than September 30, 2011 is desired.
