- The Army Contracting Command - National Capital Region (ACC-NCR), on behalf of Business Transformation Agency Standard Procurement System Joint Program Management Office (BTA, SPS-JPMO), intends to exercise FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, for continual support for the sustainment, development and maintenance of the SPS suite of products. The purpose of this 6 month bridge contract (one three-month base period and one three-month option period utilizing FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services) is to continue to provide the worldwide SPS user community with quality and affordable sustainment, development and maintenance of the SPS suite of products until a new contract can be put in place, currently targeted for award during second Quarter Fiscal Year 2012 (FY12). This includes the PD2 v4.2 Increment 2, FPDS engine/FPDS NG, CCR, corresponding PD2 Integrations, and the Adapter Software as well as all supported third party software application versions that have received Government acceptance and are being tested or in operational use at Government sites. The Army Contracting Command - National Capital Region (ACC-NCR) intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type sole source contract modification (IAW FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source) to the incumbent CACI International, Inc., 4114 Legato Road, Fairfax, VA 22033-4002. The estimated dollar value of this requirement is $14,958,471.35 with a base period of performance from 01 October 2011 through 31 December 2011 and an option period from 1 January 2012 through 31 March 2012. ACC-NCR anticipates the issuance of a contract Modification (SF30) on or about 30 September 2011. A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
