Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 1 Contracting Activity, is seeking a supplier to furnish and install a fully automatic, PC controlled, pneumatic tube delivery system for Pharmacy Service at the Edith Nourse Rodgers Memorial VA Hospital, 200 Springs Road, Bedford, MA. The System will be multi-zone, with diverters, through station design, with various operating zones, five stations, transfer system, waiting lines, independent air supplies, delivery speeds of 6-8 meters/second, computer controlled braking, station LCD menus, remote diagnostics/programming and a 120/208 volt power system. Approximately 500 Lf of 6" tubing with the required radius bends are required. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or around 9/19/2011 and will be a total small business set-aside under NAICS 333922.
