Evaluation Process. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible contractor whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, is Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Award will be on an all or none basis. The following factors will be used to evaluate quotes: Technical Acceptability and Price. 1. Technically Acceptability: If providing an "equal" item (s), comply with FAR Provision 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal. Explain how your company will meet the salient characteristics of the items listed at Item No Schedule of Supplies/Services. Offeror will be found technically acceptable if the offer meets the following salient characteristics: ITEM NO: 0001 - 0015to include option periods. Reagents Red Blood Cells used in Blood Bank testing procedures of hemaglutination and meolysis 3% reagents used in tube tests, 8% reagents used in ID-MTS brand Gel Tests, must be compatible ID-Micro typing systems. It utilizes dextran acrylamide gel particles that are pre-dispensed into specially designed mircrotubes. The gel uses 0.8% reagents, and the tube uses 3% reagents. 2. Price. Proposals must be submitted on time to the mailing address above, or by fax to (706) 787-657 ATTN: Sebrena L. H. Lane or email to: sebrena.l.lane@us.army.mil. Evaluation Process: All quotes will be evaluated on their price and technical acceptability. The award decision will be based on the lowest priced technically acceptable quote. Except for communications conducted for the purpose of minor clarification, the Government intends to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) to be eligible for award. The CCR internet website is http://www.ccr.gov.
