Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation nor a request for quotes. The purpose of this announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources, including their size classification. This Sources Sought Announcement shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract, and this announcement does not restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government shall in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 446110. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 22 Network Contracting Activity is seeking qualified sources to provide Pharmacy Services including a network of pharmacy locations, pharmacy claims processing, data conversion, claims clearinghouse, call center customer service, accounts receivable and reconciliation. The facilities to be serviced are Community Based Outreach Clinics (CBOCs) attached to the VA Long Beach Healthcare System in the following locations: Anaheim, Laguna Hills, Long Beach, Santa Ana, and Santa Fe Springs. The contractor must have a network of pharmacy locations in the areas specified. Qualified offerors should submit the following information in response to this Sources Sought Announcement: (1) company name; (2) address; (3) point of contact; (4) phone and fax numbers; (5) email address; (6) DUNS number; (7) type of small business if applicable and ; and (8) a capability statement that addresses the company's qualifications to perform the work described. Responses should be emailed to evelyn.mckenna@va.gov with "Emergency Prescriptions for CBOC Patients" in the subject line. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than September 28, 2011 at 4:00 p.m.
