- Sling Shipping Addresses and Qty This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as 100% Small business set-aside. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 released 20110804 and DFARS Change Notice 20110819. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 314991 and the size standard is 500 employees. The small business size standard for a concern which submits an offer in its own name, but which proposes to furnish an item which it did not itself manufacture, is 500 employees. REQUIREMENTS: The Air Force has a requirement for 2-point sling kits for the M4 rifle to support the Air Force Security Forces Mission. QUOTE REQUIREMENTS: Quotes must contain product specifications addressing characteristics such as quality/durability, materials each item is made of, compatibility, photos, literature, capabilities, samples as requsted, etc. Specifications shall meet all criteria listed in the item description. FOB: Destination, no later than 100 days ARO. For delivery to various addresses as per attachment. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable, responsible offeror. To be technically acceptable, the items being offered must meet or exceed the salient characteristics listed under each item below. The government will award a contract on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors. Offerors are highly encouraged to quote their most advantageous pricing in their initial response.
