- This is a notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract to White Systems Inc for continued maintenance of White Systems carousels located at the Joel Clinic and the Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC) Warehouse, Fort Bragg, North Carolina 28310. Service includes repair of all normal failures or the covered equipment at no additional charge for repair parts, labor, and travel expenses. Service also includes two (2) preventive maintenance visits during the term of the contract (scheduled in advance) to perform periodic maintenance and evaluate equipment condition. The period of performance for this requirement is a Base Year (October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012) and two Option Year (October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2014). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be received by September 22, 2011, 4:00 PM EST.
