Questions and Answers Fishy Bridge; Solicitation: AG-0116-S-11-0162 Questions and Answers No information given on this document amends the solicitation. Question 1: Is the FS supplying the crushed it says is located at 2079 MP.03 or 3000 rd MP 36? Answer 1. The designated Rock pit for this site is located at 2050 MP 10.20. Question 2: How many miles from the job are these two stock piles? Answer 2. The designated Rock pit is 10.15 miles from the site. Question 3: If the crushed is being sold to the contractor, how much per yard? Answer 3. There will not be a charge for any of the rock from this rock source as long as it is used for the construction of the bridge. Question 4: Rip Rap. What are the pit locations near the job that are potential borrow sources for this item? And what would it cost. Answer 4. The borrow source for the riprap will also be the Rock pit located at 2050 MP 10.20. Question 5: Waste/rock removed from roadway to open up the stream flow. Where is it going to be placed? How long of a haul to the waste site? Answer 5. Waste rock from excavation shall be disposed at a designated site within 3 miles of the bridge site. Question 6: Can the guard rail posts be placed in dug holes or are they required to be driven. Answer 6. Yes, holes may be dug for posts rather than driving the posts.
