Description

Note: This presolicitation notice is replacing the previous combined synopsis/solicitation for this requirement dated 9/9/2011. The Department for Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Fayetteville, North Carolina, has a need for the purchase and installation of 864 feet of 3000 series Inpro woodgrain handrails, 700 series wall guards, returns, mounting hardware, corner guards, and repair and paint the walls due to the removal of old handrails. This requirement has been set-aside 100% to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The NAICS code is 423210. Size standard is 100 employees. Offerors shall demonstrate the ability to meet all the requirements contained in the solicitation. The procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12, in conjunction with FAR 15. It is the responsibility of the offeror to read the solicitation in its entirety and follow all the instructions for submission of the proposal. Incomplete proposals will be considered non-responsive and not considered for award. Solicitation packages will be available on or about September 10, 2011. Deadline for all inquires is 12 noon (Eastern Standard Time) September 13, 2011. No hard copy solicitations will be provided. No hard copy proposals will be accepted.
