Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), National Veterinary Services Laboratories (NVSL), Ames, IA, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Tecan U.S. for the purchase of two (2) Tecan HydroSpeed Plate Washer configurations, and two (2) Instrument Infinite F50 configurations for the National Veterinary Services Laboratories, Foreign Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratories CSF surveillance work. The proposed contract action is for items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiation with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Numbered note 22 applies. This synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. This notice is for information purposes only. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored.
