- Notice of Intent Sole source The U.S Army Contracting Command, Fort Belvoir intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1)-FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(b)- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Trimble Navigation Limited, 5475 Kellenburger Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424-1099. Trimble developed and owns the software code for the Trimble product line. These products are COTS items, and the technical data for all the Trimble products is proprietary to Trimble. Trimble Terramodel Construction Package and GPS Analyst provide a technical engineering toolset designed to generate, manage, analyze, and digitally distribute a wide variety of engineering data. A Firm-Fixed-Price contract will be awarded for the purchase software maintenance and support for Trimble products. This effort will consist of a base year and one option year of maintenance and support. The maintenance and support will cover a quantity of three-hundred twenty-eight (328) Trimble Terramodel Construction Package (covers modules: CAD, Contour, COGO, Site Design, Road Design and ASAP Module), and three-hundred twenty-eight (328) Trimble GPS Analyst Extension. Trimble products are being used by the Software Engineering Center's (SEC) Intelligence Fusion Systems (IFS) in support of the Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A) systems on Instrument Set, Reconnaissance and Surveying (ENFIRE) to rapidly collect and disseminate accurate, current information that can be used almost immediately by the Commander in his decision-making process. All responsible sources that provide supporting data to demonstrate that they can successfully provide the required licenses and support may submit a quote to be considered. All responses should be received via email within seven (7) calendar days of the date of this notice at 2:00 PM local time. The anticipated award date is ten (10) days from the closing date of this notice. All offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with FAR 52.204-7 and DFAR 252.204-7004. In addition, all offerors must complete the Certifications and Representations as set forth in FAR 52.212-3. This can be accomplished through the following website: https://orca.bpn.gov. This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued.
