- Three year subscription:Database of online books designed for engineers and scientists from a variety of publishers. Must be a web-based application integrating technical information with analytical and search tools to drive innovation and deliver answers engineers can trust. Subscription must provide desktop access to critical core collection materials in the areas of environmental engineering, industrial safety and design. Titles included in package recommended for purchase include EPA Library Network Core Collection titles. Examples include: Air Quality Management, Environmental Contaminant Reference Databook, Casarett and Doull's Toxicology - The Basic Science of Poisons, and Patty's Toxicology. Providing ebook desktop access eliminates the need to purchase hard copies and store them in the library or program offices. The ebook format allows users to access all content at their location within the Region, not just when in Dallas.The database must offer interactive charts and graphs from subscribed ebooks. Table and chart content must be indexed and be retrievable by a search engine. Database must be user friendly so users can find what is needed so that productivity is not hindered.
