Description

Request for Proposal The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has identified a four (4) acres parcel of land with three (3) vacant buildings and a two (2) acres parcel of land with two (2) vacant buildings at the VA Minneapolis Health Care System (Ft. Snelling Campus) in Minneapolis, Minnesota for a long-term ground lease up to 75 years. Additionally, The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has identified a six (6) acres parcel of land at the VA St. Cloud Health Care System (St. Cloud Campus) for a long-term ground lease up to 75 years. VA is soliciting qualified developers to submit proposals to finance, design, develop, construct, equip, furnish, manage and maintain a new Permanent Housing Facility. The VA objective is to provide safe affordable housing to the target population of homeless Veterans and Veterans at-risk of homelessness, with priority placement for Veterans. In return for a long-term lease, the offeror will provide fair monetary and/or in-kind consideration to VA that will include an array of on-site supportive services.
