Description
This is posted to provide Questions and Answers about the RFQ. 1. Are servers required at either facility when not in contingency? No 2. Is salad prep required at either facility when not in contingency? Yes, at the Raptor Café. 3. Is the contractor required to cook food items needed for flight/ground meals? No 4. Is it correct that only 1 UTA weekend is scheduled per month? Yes, the 192nd FW trains on Langley AFB one weekend each month as per Technical Exhibit 6. Any extra training scheduled during the summer for annual training? No extra training will be scheduled, as per the Technical Exhibit 6. 5. During UTA weekends are servers required at Crossbw for all meals, or just lunch? Servers will be required for Breakfeast and Lunch. 6. Are any servicwe required of contractor at the flight kitchen on holidays? No 7. Is the contractor reimbursed for supplies listed in tech exhibit 5c and 5d? No, the contractor is responsible for providing the supplies and must build this into contract cost. 8. On UTA weekends, technical exhibit 6, lists the number of personnel required that will be reimbursed by the 192nd Fighter Wing ANG. Is this in addition to the personnel normally scheduled for weekend service? Yes 9. 1.1.3 It states that during Contingency the contractor will perform serving & replenishment of food. On 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 it states that the contractor already performs this duty. Which is correct? Under 1.1.1, 1.1.2, and 1.1.3 the contractor is responsible for "serving and replenishing food". 10. 1.1.12.2 states that in special and emergency situations including but not limited to mobilization and surge requirements the contracting officer may direct the contractor to provide line servers. So do we provide during normal workdays? No 11. Who is responsible for minor and major maintenance of the equipment? Government 12. Is food serving at the Crossbow Dining Facility a requirement? Yes 13. Is this a change from the existing service being performed by the contractor? No 14. Will the response date remain September 13 or will it be extended given the recent site visit? No, the submission date is September 13th.
