Description
PROJECT NAME: CCTV for Eight Army Installations The 411th Contracting Support Battalion, Yongsan, Korea intends to issue a solicitation (W91QVN-11-R-0374) for Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Systems and Self-Locking Locks. The the requiring activity is the Eight U.S. Army, Provost Marshal Office, Korea. This will be a firm fixed price contract for the procurement and installation of said items. Work performed for this project will be located on in various Military Installation locations throughout Korea. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction (Addition, alteration, and renovation general contractors, commercial and institutional building), Remediation Services with a size standard of $33.5 million. This acquisition will be a unrestricted, no set aside. The Government anticipates a performance period of 180 days from the date Notice to Proceed (NTP) is given. The solicitation will be issued as a request for proposal utilizing FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding process. The magnitude of this project is expected to between $1,000,000 to 5,000,000. In accordance with FAR Part 36, Construction Contracts, bonding is required in the form of bid guarantee, and payment and performance bonds are required. The Government anticipates release of the solicitation on or about August 14, 2011. The solicitation and all amendments will be issued through the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi and Federal Business Opportunities Website (FedBizOpps) at https://www.fbo.gov/. Offerors are required to check the above websites daily to be notified of any changes to this solicitation. These are projected/tentative dates and are subject to change. Hard/paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The closing date and bid opening time will be identified in the solicitation package. The Government is not responsible for any loss of internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the documents posted on the reference webpage's. For planning purposes, a one-day pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held at ones of the locations - dates will be identified in the solicitation and RSVP's will be required. An updated synopsis will also be posted at a later date which will provide additional information in reference to the conference. Interested Offeror's must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Firms can register via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting the CCR Information Center at 1-888-227-2423. Interested offeror's are required to submit their representations and certifications on-line at http://orca.bpn.gov. You will need your DUNS number and CCR MPIN in order to log into the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website. The award for this procurement will be made in accordance with the applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations. Funding are not currently available for this acquisition at this time.
