Description
Updated Synopsis/Solicitation attachment. Includes new quote due dates and changes to the quote content requirements. Track changes is enabled so you can see the updates clearly. New Statement of Work During the site visit on 9/2/11, a number of questions were raised. As a result, a new Statement of Work is attached. The questions and answers follow: Additional questions can be submitted through 9/8/11. Question: Do you want the conduit run to go over the nodular or around to the back up generator: ANS: It is up to you to determine ho the conduit runs from the panel to the back up generator so long as you meet the minimum requirements specified within the SOW. Question: What is the amount of downtime acceptable by Border Patrol when installing back up generator: ANS: Minimal downtime, the checkpoint is a 24/7 operation and we need to consider the agent and detainee impact. Include a generator source in your proposal if you'd like. Question: Do you want the transfer switch next to generator or panel: ANS: Next to the generator. For security reasons, we should locate the transfer switch within the perimeter fence of the generator. Comment: The CMU Block wall will not be part of the requirements. This will have to be provided by the Contracting Officer when an updated SOW/RFP is sent out. Comment: The 225AMP requirements has been changed to 400AMPs. The Specification sheets referenced during project development do not match the current power provided to the facility. The 400 AMP requirement ill be reflected on the updated SOW/RFP provided by the Contracting Officer. Comment: The Contracting Officer will shift the timeline for the Bid Proposal to the right due to the change in the SOW/RFP. She will provide the new date. A NEW Statement of Work is attached. Please read this new document carefully. Some revisions have also been made to the Synopsis/solicitation document attached.
