Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to solicit the three known sources, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Agilent Technologies, Inc. of Englewood, CO, Technical Communities Corp. of San Bruno, CA, and Newark Electronics Corp. of Chicago IL, on a limited competition basis for, twenty-eight (28) model N8481B Average Thermocouple Power Sensor, 10MHz to 18GHz, twenty (20) model N8482B Average Thermocouple Power Sensor, 100KHz to 6.0GHz, (25) model E3645A DC Power Supply, dual range: 0-35V/2.2A and 0-60V/1.3A, 80W. GPIB, RS-232, forty-eight (48) model 8478BOPTH48 Coaxial Thermistor Mount, 10 MHz to 18 GHz, seventy-nine (79) model 8470BOPT012 18 GHz LBHCD Crystal Detector, forty-two (42) model 8470BOPT701 18GHz LBHCD Crystal Detector, ten (10) model 6031A DC Power Supply, 0-20Vdc, 0-120A, 1064W. Autoranging - GPIB, three (3) model 6032AOPT120 DC Power Supply, 0-60Vdc, 0-50A, 1200W. Autoranging - GPIB, fifteen (15) model 8120-1082 Cable 5 FT Long Orderable, twenty (20) model 8491BOPT003 Coaxial Attenuator, dc - 18 GHz, Type N, twenty-three (23) model 53132AOPT010,030 225MHz Universal Counter - 12 digit/s, 150 ps, forty five (45) model 8493COPT020 Coaxial Fixed Attenuator, dc to 26.5 GHz. These Agilent Technologies calibration equipment will be used to support the Naval Calibration Program Workloads at local calibration laboratories (Ashore and Afloat) and the NPSLs. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 3204 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. Agilent Technologies, Inc., Technical Communities Corp., and Newark Electronics Corp. are the only known sources that are able to fulfill this requirement. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. Offers will be evaluated on a strict pass/fail basis. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
