- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Otisville, New York, intends to issue solicitation RFQP0211110068, for the acquisition of fresh bread and bread products. This shall be a requirements type contract with firm fixed pricing for the period of October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012. The estimated yearly quantities are: Wheat bread 54,080 lvs, Hot Dog Rolls 8,840 pks, Hamburger Rolls 4,940 pks, Steak Rolls 3,120 pks, and dinner rolls 5,000 pks. This solicitation is being issued unrestricted. Deliveries will be made to the Institution Warehouse, Two Mile Drive, Otisville, New York 10963. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about September 8, 2011 and will be posted to the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Faith - Based and Community-Based organizations can submit offers/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is September 22, 2011. Payment will be made using the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offer is required, per FAR 52.212-3, to complete their representations and certifications via the On-Line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov.
