- Description
- This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-27. This acquisition is an unrestricted requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516. The contractor shall provide a SPRi-Plex instrument and consumables that meet the following requirements: Instrument: 1.The instrument must be a prism coupled surface plasmon resonance (SPR) imaging system using Kretschmann geometry with real time SPR monitoring 2.Must use a 10 bit CCD camera with minimum resolution of 1392x1040 pixels 3.Must be capable of monitoring SPR changes at least 400 spots to a maximum of 1000 spots on a chip simultaneously 4.The data drift must be less than 0.1%h (=12gp /mm2/11)2 5.The instrument must have temperature control to maintain chip temperature and the accuracy of temperature should be + 0.1 C 6.The instrument must have microfluidics incorporated to handle injection of test solutions 7.The microfluidics must have software control to operate 8.The instrument must be capable of injecting sample solutions with volumes between 1ul to 500u1 9.Must have a minimum data capture rate of at least 5 images collected per second 10.The limit of detection must be 5 pg/mm2 protein 11.Must include software for analysis of data that is capable of measuring kinetics of the interactions monitored 12.The software must be capable of exporting to data to other formats such as text or tabs for analysis with other software packs 13.The system must handle proteins, nucleic acids and lipids 14.Typical analysis time per injection must be less than 15 minutes Consumbles: 1.The bare chips must have a dimension of 25x12 mm 2.The chips must be made of high index glass 3.The chips must be coated with at least 5 nm gold film 4.The high index glass prism must have the dimension of 25x12.5 mm 5.The functionalized SPRi slides must have carboxymethyl dextran coating All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. The competitive solicitation, solicitation amendments and all questions and answers relating to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ or https://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about, September 6, 2011 and will only be available until September 20, 2011. Specifications of the requirement are provided in solicitation: W81XWH-11-T-0617. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. To be eligible for an award, offerors MUST be registered with the Central Contractor Registry at https://ccr.gov/ and may have completed its representations and certification found at https://orca.bpn.gov/.
