- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE & REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. THE PURPOSE OF THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION IS TO GAUGE AVAILABILITY AND VENDOR INTEREST TO PROPERLY PLAN FOR A FUTURE SOLICITATION. NO AWARD WILL BE MADE BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. This RFI is released pursuant to FAR 15.201e, Exchanges with Industry. Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk - Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Annex is seeking sources and availability for a series of potential requirements for lodging in the New London, CT area. All requirements are for efficiency rooms. The periods of performances are from 07/05/2012 to 04/19/2013. Please see the attached documents for complete specifications and schedules. In accordance with FAR 15.202e, responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Only responders who meet the following criteria should respond to this sources sought notice: 1. Meets ALL specifications outlined in the attached document. 2. Anticipates availability of rooms during one or more of the stated periods of performance. 3. Has an active CAGE Code with the Central Contractor Registration. 4. Does not appear on the Excluded Parties List Responses should include the following information: 1. Responder ™s contact information including company name. P.O.C. name, telephone number, fax number, email address, street address, CAGE, and TIN 2. Hotel property or properties that the responder is planning on including in a potential future offer, including street addresses. 3. Lot or Lots that the responder is interested in providing a quote for. 4. Information on the amenities and room type that would be offered. Pricing information should not be submitted at this time, however please note that all responses to Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Annex ™s lodging requirements must be less than the current per diem rate. The current per diem rate for New London, CT is $98.00. Please fax your responses to the attention of Evan Coburn at 207-438-1251 no later than 3:00 PM ET on September 20, 2011. All responses shall be limited to 10 pages or less.
