- Amendment No. 0001-06 Sept 2011 The purpose of this amendment is to post a question raised in response to this notice. The offer due date remains the same Solicitation No. F3P3AQ1216AC01, Fiber Optic Splicing Trailer for Randolph Air Force Base Answers to Questions raised in response to the solicitation Q. The requirement of the generator states that you are requesting a gas generator. Could you clarify that is the case and you do not want a diesel powered generator? A. The trailer must be gas, not diesel. Direct any questions to the contract administrator, Erin Flanigan, erin.flanigan.1@us.af.mil **************************************************************** The 902d Contracting Squadron at Randolph AFB, Texas has a requirement for a Fiber Optic Splicing Trailer in accordance with the specifications listed in the Description of Supplies. 1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. F3P3AQ1216AC01. 3. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 and DFARS Change Notice 20110725. 4. This acquisition is set-aside for 100% Small Business participation. The associated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336214; size standard 500 employees. 5. This combined synopsis/solicitation is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the United States Air Force. The Government is NOT liable for any costs and/or activity associated with providing a response to this announcement. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the government for reimbursement. 6.
