Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number FA2521-11-Q-B093 shall be used to reference any written quote / proposal provided under this request for quote/proposal. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53. This is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 335912 with a size standard of 1000 employees. Max weight is 120lbs. Max size is 18"H x 19" W x 18"L. Min cycle life is 2000 cycles (batteries will not be fully discharged); System operating temperature range is 0° C to 50° C operating and the system storage temperature ranges from 10° C to 60° C. Battery system has a fully integrated battery management system with active cell balance control; thermal management controls, monitors system current and individual cell voltage and temperatures system protection and cell fault diagnostics.
