Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District is soliciting offers under Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. W912BU-11-T-0054 for relocation of Mooring Barge 2 (MB2) from Killcohook Area via the Delaware River to Palmyra, New Jersey in the vicinity of the Tacony Palmyra Bridge to Palmyra Cove Disposal Area in accordance with Scope of Work. The RFQ will be available on or about 06 September 2011. Award will be made to the lowest responsible offeror. This action will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Solicitation documents, plans and specifications will only be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) homepage-https://www.fbo.gov. Interested offerors must register with FBO before accessing the system. Offers will be due on 09 September 2011 at 1:00 pm eastern time and may be faxed to (215) 656-6780 or emailed to Helena DiNofa at helena.r.dinofa@usace.army.mil. Quotes should include pricing and certifications and representations. Offerors are responsible for printing paper copies of the RFQ. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. The North Atlantic Industrial Classification (NAIC) for this procurement is 483211 with a size standard of 500 employees. Affirmative action to ensure equal employment opportunity is applicable to the resulting contract. No other notification to firms for this project will be made. All contractors must be registered in the DOD's Central Contractor Register (CCR) before award as required by DFARS 204-7300.
