- Attached spreadsheet list the parts the government will be discussing during the 7 Sept 11 Industry Day. Initiative 1 and 2 are on different tabs of this attachment. You are invited to attend an Industry Day hosted by OC-ALC, DLA and AFGLSC Small Business offices on Wednesday, 7 Sep 2011, 0800-1200, at the Tinker Business Industrial Park (TBIP), 2701 Liberty Parkway, Midwest City, OK 73110 Room 335. OC-ALC is seeking to reduce costs by improving competition on a diverse group of propulsion engine parts through two initiatives. Initiative 1 for new manufactured spares will include detailed information on approximately thirty parts that are being targeted for greater competition and will include consideration of Parts Manufacturer Authority (PMA) holder parts. Initiative 2 for refurbished commercial spares will include detailed information on ten F108 (CFM56-2) parts where use of refurbished commercial parts and Designated Engineering Representative developed repairs will be considered. Information on the Qualification Requirements for these parts and submittal of subsequent Source Approval Requests will be explained. Technical questions will be addressed at the Industry Day. Seating capacity is limited and request no more than two representatives from each company attend. Registration must include company name, attendees names, phone number, and email address. Please register with Ms. Tiffany Bellard at AFGLSC.SB.Workflow@Tinker.af.mil no later than 5PM on 06 Sept 2011. All cost incurred to attend are the responsibility of the attendee. This Industry Day is for the government to provide information to interested parties on the two initiatives and to receive feedback from interested parties to facilitate further market research. The Government will not incur cost for this event. The Government will not pay for information provided or for travel cost to attend this event.
