Description

U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting on a sole source basis with Lockheed Martin, 1801 State Route 17C, Owego, NY 13827 for the disposition of 60 Mission Processors used on the MH-60 and MH-47 US Army Special Operations Aircraft. The proposed action will be processed as a Firm Fixed Price purchase order for supplies which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.1. Firms that recognize and can provide the supplies are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive proposal; however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date IAW FAR 5.203 (a). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 336413; the business size is 500 employees. The estimated date of the RFQ is 07 September 2011.
