- Description
- This is an RFI to clarify small business involvement. This newest RFI is to further determine small business involvement in the set aside. Responses are due by 3 pm mountain time Thursday September 8, 2011. The Space and C3I Division at Hill Air Force Base, Utah intends to award a contract for the production of the Joint Threat Emitter (JTE) program on a total small business set-aside basis. The requirement for this contract is 13 TEUs total (5 USAF JTEs (up to 15), 4 RSAF JTEs and 4 RSAF Core TEUs (to be upgraded to Wideband Kits on future ECP). 7 Mobile and 2 Fixed C2Us (3 USAF MC2Us and 4 RSAF MC2Us and 2 USAF FC2Us). The RSAF portion will be included as options, the requirement for RSAF is pending signature of the Letter of Acceptance (LOA), which is expected 22 September 2011. The National Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement action is 334511, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. This U.S. industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in manufacturing search, detection, navigation, guidance, aeronautical, and nautical systems and instruments. The size standard for the above-mentioned NAICS code is 750 employees. Contractors may be required to provide information regarding the Ostensible Contractor rule as outlined in 13 CFR 121.103(h)(4).
