Description
The FAA Eastern Logistics Service Area, Boston Office, has a new requirement for the Acoustic/Noise Mitigation Project at the new Potomac ATCSCC in Warrenton, VA. All work must be done in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and associated (and attached) documents. This solicitation is full and open to all business concerns, with the NAIC code of 541990(Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services) with a size standard of $7.0 Million. The performance period is seventy-two (72) calendar days, broken down as follows:1.Build a Mathematical Model & Present Solution Sets (based on actual measurements) - 30 days * Deliver the Measurements (30 days from contract award) * Deliver the Results of the Analysis (30 days from contract award) * Deliver two proposed solutions with cost & schedule Estimates (30 days from contract award) 2.Install the Selected Solution & Verify Improvement - 42 days * Install Start 14 days after notification of selected solution * Install Duration 14 days after install start * 14 days after install complete to take measurements and provide final performance report The Request for Offer (RFO), including SOW, Drawings, and all other associated documents are attached to this announcement. All documents are available in.pdf format and may be viewed with the applicable version of Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat Professional. This is a negotiated procurement that will result in a Firm Fixed-Price Contract. The price range for this requirement is $75,000 to $150,000. Performance and payment bonds are required. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short Term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
