Description
Justification and Approval for Customized High Energy Output Boards The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) intends to award of a sole source Firm-Fixed Price Contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a) (2) (see attached Justification and Approval). The award shall include all necessary services, personnel, materials and expertise to engineer, manufacture and supply a minimum of 160 direct replacement Zareba #7001938A High Voltage Output P.C. boards to be utilized in the Zareba Model GDI-0897 Rapid Pulse Energizer (RPE) unit. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 541330. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. It is not a solicitation or a request for offers. Any firm who believes it can meet the requirements may provide written notification to the contracting officer no later than 10:00 am (eastern standard time), September 6, 2011. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to supply services that will meet the requirement in a satisfactory manner and show competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Interested firms must provide a Capability Statement with the following information. Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Telephone and Fax Number, Email Address, Business Size and DUNS number. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Wolfgram Industries, Inc. All vendors are hereby notified that if your response is not received by the date and time specified in this notice, it will not be considered. Faith-Based and Community based organizations can submit written notification to the contracting for which they are eligible.
