- Specification and Clauses SF1449 Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items Synopsis: AG-9327-11-18 - Combined Synopsis/Solicitation - Seed Tech Systems Multiple Air Chamber Seed Cleaning Machine Model MACS-204 This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. AG-9327-11-18. This combined synopsis is for a Seed Tech Systems Multiple Air Chamber Seed Cleaning Machine or equal as identified below, including delivery to the Plant Materials Center Farm located at 2055 Schurz Highway, Fallon, NV, 89406, by November 10, 2011. All costs for the transportation of the Seed Cleaning Machine from shipping point(s) to the destination shall be paid by the contractor and included in the unit price quoted for the item. Final Specifications Seed Tech Systems MACS 204 A multiple air chamber separator used for general seed cleaning and for precision grading. It can be used to remove both heavy debris, such as clods, rocks, glass, sticks, large particles, and lighter granular debris, such as chaff, inert material, pieces of broken seeds and other light unwanted materials. By means of a variable frequency computer, airflow is controlled to each chamber. Can effectively be used to separate partially-filled and immature seeds from the whole seed, which improves the quality of the seed lot and enhances the seed viability and germination percentage of the lot.
