- Description
- Amendment 1 Solicitation SB1341-11-RQ-0667 The purpose of this amendment is to post NIST's answers to questions that were posed by potential Offerors. The questions and NIST's official responses are detailed below: Question: Can you please find out what "slightly detune" means in a more precise way? For example does it mean detuning by a few megahertz versus lets say like 100 megahertz?" Response: In the solicitation, NIST states that "The laser wavelength should be looked on Cs atom D2 line with a possibility to be finely detuned so that NIST can study the interaction between photons and atoms." The detuning resolution should be from a few megahertz to a few tens (such as 10, 20 or 25) megahertz. In addition, as stated in the solicitation, the hope-free current tuning range shall be >40 GHz.
