Description

The Providence, RI Veterans Affairs Healthcare System located at 830 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, RI intends to release Solicitation VA-241-11-RQ-1273 for preventive maintenance on multiple Liebert cooling systems for the Providence data center and server room. This will include four units: two (2) Liebert DS Precision Cooling Fan Coil Units and two (2) Liebert Air Cooled Condensing Units. The full solicitation will be posted on FEDBIZOPPS www.fbo.gov on or about September 1st, 2011. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code will be 333415 with an applicable small business size standard of 750 employees. Performance period is 365 calendar days after award, with four one year option periods. This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming RFP solicitation to satisfy the requirements of FAR 5.201 and 5.203. All questions on this notice and future solicitation should be addressed to the Contracting Officer. All interested parties should register via FEDBIZOPPS interested vendors list. It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor and download amendments from FebBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR), prospective firms must be registered in CCR (www.ccr.gov) prior to award.
