Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD: The 176 Mission Support Contracting Element, JBER, Alaska intends to award a purchase order for the purchase of the following ALE-47 Test Bench. All items below are brand name or equal. If quoting "or equal" items, please include all physical, functional and performance capabilities. Award will be made by lowest price technically acceptable. THIS IS CURRENTLY AN UNFUNDED REQUIREMENT. AWARD WILL BE MADE IF FUNDING IS AVAILABLE PRIOR TO 30 Sept 2011. 1 EACH ALE-47 TEST BENCH DRS Technologies part # 900867-001 Cabable of testing 1 Sequencer, 1 EMI Filter/Safety switch, 2 Dispensers, 1Programmer, one CDU, one control panel. The Test bench will allow reprogramming, troubleshooting. repair actions, and bench testing of the chaff flare dispensing system on C-17, HH-60, C-130H, and HC-130 airframes. 1553 Databus connection and ability to interface with other systems is required. The ALE-47 bench will need to be able to interface with the current DRS ALR-69 bench testers currently being used by the 176 MXS. The anticipated award date if funded is 20 Sept 2011. Firms that believe that they can provide similar required items must provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer. This announcement constitutes the only written notice. The following provisions are incorporated by reference, FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certificates-Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders-Commercial Items.
