Description
DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS SEEKS EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR LEASE SPACE The U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to lease approximately 28,700 BOMA usable square feet of contiguous space for an Outpatient Clinic in Boston, MA. The offered space shall be contiguous and located on one or no more than two elevator-served floors. A lease term up to 20-years may be required. A minimum of 232 parking spaces is required in the general area. Space must be located within the delineated area described below: Properties within the following delineated area will be considered: Starting at the intersection of Herald Street and Albany Street, proceed Northwest along Herald Street; continue North on Arlington Street; proceed East on Boylston; proceed North on Tremont Street; proceed Northwest along Park Street; proceed Northeast along Beacon Street; proceed North along Bowdoin Street; proceed West along Cambridge Street; proceed North along Charles Street; at intersection of Charles Street-Storrow Drive-Monsignor O'Brien Highway/Route 28, proceed North to Charles River shoreline; proceed East along shoreline until intersecting I-93/ Route 1; proceed south on Beverly Street; continue Northeast along shoreline; at Northeastern edge of Prince Street Park, proceed Southeast to Commercial Street; proceed Southwest along Commercial Street; proceed Southwest along Endicott Street; continue South/Southeast along Cross Street; continue South along Purchase Street; proceed Southeast on Seaport Boulevard to Fore River shoreline; proceed Southwest along shoreline; proceed Northwest along Summer Street; proceed South/Southwest along Atlantic Avenue; at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Kneeland Street, continue Southwest to Massachusetts Turnpike I-90 intersecting between exits 24B and 24C; proceed Southwest to beginning intersection of Herald Street and Albany Street. Existing buildings offered for consideration must be of sound and substantial construction of the type generally recognized as contemporary with the ability to meet all current Federal, VA, State, and Local codes and regulations at the time of occupancy. Guidelines will be provided during the solicitation for offers process. Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing and should include: building name, address, and age; total usable square footage available (ANSI/BOMA); date of space availability to commence tenant improvements; proximity to public transportation and commercial services such as restaurants, banks, drugstores.
