Description
This is not a solicitation. Nature of Acquisition: The United States Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) is committed to strengthening the nation's future by educating, training and developing leaders of character who are ethically, intellectually, professionally, and physically prepared to serve their country and humanity, and who are strong in their resolve to build on the long military and maritime heritage and proud accomplishments of the United States Coast Guard. The USCGA requires current, qualified underrepresented minority cadet leads to reach its strategic enrollment goals. The USCGA seeks services from Monster.com to establish Custom Leadership Programs bringing together top tier high school students of diverse backgrounds and U.S. Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) representatives. USCGA representatives will participate in explaining the mission and opportunities within the Academy and the Coast Guard while students explore collegiate and career leadership strategies, winning personal characteristics and goal-setting. Student and parent interest in the Events will be developed via collateral and personal marketing that communicates Event goals; a) Learn about the criteria, opportunities and long-term carrear and personal benefits to attending the Academy. b) Network with Academy cadets and Monster proffessionals who can provide educational and career guidance. c) Learn valuable career-building and leadership skills via 3-4 specially designed Workshops at the Events. The USCGA/Admissions Division has several years of history in the acquisition of student research services. Monster is offereing to provide access to a specially designed online web application vehicle. With candidiate screening guaranteeing 40 high school juniors per Event selected from an application base specifically recruited for the USCGA, at various location.
