- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and the reference number is 11TC1131. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 and DFARS change notice 20110819. The Offeror must quote on an all or none basis. Written quotes are required (oral offers will not be accepted). Submission of quotes must be in accordance with FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror, whose offer is the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) and meets the specifications (See Items 0001 & 0002) described below, and which is conforming to the solicitation. Please include CAGE Code, DUNS, Tax Identification Number, and Discount Terms. Quotes must be valid through 30 September 2011. This is a 100 percent Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS Code is 333415 and the size standard in number of employees is 750. ITEM 0001: (18) Three ton A/C units w/ 10KW electric heat strips, with complete three phase electrical (existing junction box); 3R fused lockable disconnects, complete system control preset (71 cooling & 45 heating) complete metal duct system per unit, return filter grills installed on each unit, with 5 year parts and labor warranty. PHD336000H000C. QTY: 18 EA ITEM 0002: Installation - Contractor shall provide all ducting and manifolds as necessary to maintain sufficient air quality inside of the shelter. Shall also provide: wiring harness, conduit and drainage for the unit, removal and disposal of the exsisting units IAW environmental compliance standards. Contractor will also ensure all areas are cleaned and free of debris at the end of each working day and pior to final acceptance of the work.
