- NSC 3 Stratton Commissioning Execution: Sources Sought: HSCG-23-11-I-ADB002 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not reimburse the contractor for any cost associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is searching for vendors that can execute a Ship Commissioning Ceremony. The USCG intends to award a single contract on a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) basis for contractor support services to include the execution/coordination, set up and tear down of contractor furnished equipment (i.e. tents, chairs, etc.), clean up and trash disposal on the pier and any other areas utilized by the event and contractor, and to provide chartered buses for transportation to and from the ceremony for the Commissioning Ceremony for the third National Security Cutter (NSC) of the Maritime Security Cutter Large Class, United States Coast Guard Cutter (USCGC) STRATTON. Market research is being conducted to determine interest. Interested parties are requested to submit responses limited to one page which address the following areas: 1. Have you successfully completed a requirement for the execution/coordination of a ship commissioning ceremony? 2. Do you have experience working with the Secret Service and White House? 3. Do you have experience with coordinating/set-up/tear down of events for 5,000 attendees? 4. Do you have a GSA schedule? If so please provide the GSA Schedule number. The contract is anticipated to be awarded by September 30, 2011 and the Commissioning Ceremony will take place on March 24, 2011. This is an RFI and not a request for proposals. Nothing shall be construed herein or through the RFI process to commit or obligate the Government to further action as result of this RFI. Companies responding to this RFI shall bear all risk and expense of any resources used to provide the requested information, and all information submitted in response to this request shall become the property of the Government and will not be returned to the submitter. All information received in response to this announcement will be kept confidential. Interested sources having the capabilities to perform this work should submit their responses in writing via email no later than 9:00 am EST on Monday, August 29, 2011.
