- To continue to provide worldclass healthcare to the warfighter, the Southern Regional Contracting Office, Brooke Army Medical Center intends to award a sole source contract to VARIAN MEDICAL SYSTEMS, INC for the purchase of Preventative and Remedial Maintenance services of government owned Varian medical equipment. Varian Medical is the only authorized firm that can perform maintenance, upgrades, calibrations, and repairs on Varian medical equipment. This acquisition is in direct support of the mission of Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The base period of performance is 1 October 2011 through 30 September 2012.
